2400 - 2500 Inductive Proximity Switch - Weber Sensors

Automated Control Engineering (A.C.E.) and Weber introduce the 2400-2500 inductive proximity switch. The proximity switch has large detection distance and is designed for use in harsh industrial environments.

Proxi-captor type 2500.-- and its coil have been especially conceived for application in environments where normal proximity switches are restricted by the presence of surrounding machinery. The self-adjusting property of this system assures constant oscillation under all working conditions, thus the units adjust themselves to their environment automatically whilst keeping their operating condition constant with changing temperatures.

For applications which require an adjustable switching range, proxi-captor type 2400.-- has been constructed to allow adjustment by means of a potentiometer.
  • Remote inductive proximity switch
  • Available in switching or analogue versions
  • Completely encapsulated
  • No moving parts
  • Rugged aluminium housing

West 2300 1/32 DIN Temperature Controller

Automated Control Engineering (A.C.E.) and West introduce the 2300 1/32 DIN temperature controller. The 2300 temperature controller has been designed to be WEST’s smallest control offering without sacrificing functionality.

Visually, the 2300 sets new standards with a large 4 digit display that can be specified in either red or green. The operator can easily view the actual temperature plus has 3 additional multi-color LED indicators for the process, alarm, and configuration status.

The three elastomeric push-buttons provide tactile feedback to your finger each time one of the switches is pressed. Entry is made easier by the large size of the push buttons plus the simplified operation of the control. The controller is provided with hands free PID (Auto Tuning) or can be manually fine tuned for a specific application.
  • Simple operation for easy setup
  • Largest 4 digit red/green digital display in a 1/32 DIN package
  • PID control for (auto-tuning) hands-free operation with manual override tune capability for specialized applications
  • Solid state relay SSR for primary control and alarming
  • Optional second alarm relay (option) or RS-485 communication

WS12EX Position Sensor

Automated Control Engineering and ASM introduce the WS12EX rugged cable extension position sensor that has a measurement range up to 3 metres.

In locations where combustible dust is present, the maximum allowable surface temperature of installed devices is limited to only 2/3 of the minimum ignition temperature of the surrounding combustible dust. If there is a risk of dust accumulation, further considerations such as the smoldering point of the dust and additional temperature safety distances must be evaluated. The WS12EX series was developed to meet these safety requirements related to combustible dust.

• Housing rated IP67
• Industry standard analog outputs: 0-10VDC and 4-20mA
• Linearity: +/- 0.10 % (optional +/- 0.05 %)
• Precision potentiometer is utilized for the rotary sensing element.

The WS12EX series achieves the requirements of EX Dust Explosion-Proof, Zone 22 for non-conductive dust. The WS12EX series was designed for numerous industries where combustible dust is present: saw mills (saw dust), food processing (flour dust) and other harsh application (carbon dust).
